It is no accident that dictionaries use the same word “Nursery” to describe a place for rearing children and plants.

Both need extra special care in the early formative years if they are to grow healthy and strong, giving them the best chance in life.

WNA is situated within a unique micro-climate on the Gold Coast, slightly elevated above the flood plain, sheltered by Mount Tamborine; this position provides an ideal situation to raise strong plants and trees that can flourish in a variety of local and interstate locations.

As a father, the current Managing Director and owner Cameron was quick to see the advantages of acquiring such a nursery in a healthy area that was good for children and plants.

For over fifteen years, Cameron has been involved in the Horticulture Industry, with both a Bachelors degree and Diploma, and extensive first hand experience with Local Councils and prestigious large companies, working as a Landscape Architect he became interestingly aware of the specific needs of the industry that were not being met.

In 2005, when the nursery on the existing site became available, Cameron was able to realise his ambition of producing strong healthy quality plants.

It became apparent that the Horticulture Industry was developing specific needs within their own market segment, and that each segment required a specific approach to meet these needs.

Consequently, the company is divided into 4 divisions to provide a specialist service:
